Coordinates educational and training opportunities for adults in Elk and Cameron Counties.  The Council is a resource center for credit and non-credit courses, basic and advanced skills training, and other seminars and workshops.  One objective of the Council is to work closely with institutions of high education to encourage them to provide programs and services in the are.  In addition, the Council works with students and prospective students to examine programs and identify educational opportunities which best suits their needs.
